Most harnesses clip on the back. Every time he pulls, the straps dig in.
A back clip makes him lean in. The straps dig into his shoulders and rub his armpits, which can leave red skin, missing fur and sore spots after walks.

Bought this for our big boy Milo. He pulled so badly every time my husband took him out. We’ve been using this harness for about three days, and my husband says it’s like having a different dog. No more pulling, just pleasant walks. Well worth the money, excellent harness.
The bungee leash is fantastic. It’s given me the ability to let my dog have a sniff adventure on our walks without the tug-of-war contest it used to be! Love it, really helps with the pulling, and the springy lead is nice as there are no jerky arm-socket movements. He seems to not mind putting this one on. I used to have to catch him to put a harness on, but not so much with this one for some reason.
This harness is brilliant. I have tried so many different leads, collars and harnesses, and this one is finally working! It’s top quality, and the spring lead is a game changer. It’s made our walks so much better. My dog is 50kg and very strong, so being able to control her safely is essential. Would definitely recommend.

We love this harness and bungee lead set — it really helps with Bailey, my one-year-old labradoodle’s pulling. No dog gear is chew-proof. If your dog likes to chew, take the harness off when you're not around, especially while he's getting used to it.
Snug enough that it stays centered and doesn't twist, loose enough that you can slide two fingers under the straps. Re-check the fit while he's still growing.
Use the front chest ring while pulling is the problem. Once he walks calmly, you can switch to the back ring for relaxed walks.
